I’m ready to tell you my secret now: I see pretty people. All the time. They’re everywhere.
Yeah, I suppose that’s goofy. But I loved The Sixth Sense, and I’m a movie quote geek, so…there you go. I thought it worked with what I wanted to accomplish shooting beauty.

In the past, I’ve spent a lot of time photographing sports. I was on the sidelines to photograph Tony Romo’s NFL debut and Drew Bledsoe’s last pass. That’s the same game, for those who don’t know. I’ve photographed at NASCAR Winston, Nextel, and Sprint Cup races from Sonoma, California to Louden, New Hampshire, and many places in between from 2001 to 2008. I’ve taken over 200,000 motocross photos. I’m happy to have photographed at Colt McCoy’s first collegiate game , and hope to get one more in. I was hit by not one, but two balls from Texas Ranger batters in a single game once. I love shooting collegiate basketball, but don’t do it much. Still, photographing Kevin Durant at the Big XII tournament was a thrill, as I am a Longhorn fan.
I am the second most interesting man in the world behind the Dos Equis guy. Okay, I made that part up.
But I REALLY enjoy creating portraits. Because I get to collaborate with people I like. Sometimes I think up the ideas, sometimes a client, sometimes wardrobe, or the makeup artist will. It’s the part I enjoy the most about it, working together. Do you have an idea you’ve been wanting to try, but didn’t think anyone would listen? I’ll listen. I may laugh, but I’ll listen.
If I’m photographing you, then I want to work WITH you. I want to know your ideas and feedback during the shoot. One of my best days of photographing was on an October weekend in west Texas. Just a plan, a tank of gas, and friend that was willing to ride in a car for 24 hours as well as collaborate on ideas. Together, we produced some of my favorite photos.

I’m available for most portrait photography, and especially beauty photos. But don’t confuse sexy with sleasy. One of the sexiest photos I ever took was of Tiffany in a sweater. Very simple I supposed, but it worked.
